Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before booking with G&S General Services
Do you handle the dirt work and leveling before pouring?
Yes, we provide complete turnkey foundation services. This includes site clearing, pad building, grading, form setting, and final laser leveling before the concrete ever arrives.
What kind of foundation do I need for my metal building?
Most metal buildings require a reinforced monolithic slab with thickened edge footings to support the heavy steel frame. We will engineer the pour to match your specific building's structural requirements.
How long does the concrete take to cure?
While you can typically walk on the slab within 24 to 48 hours, we recommend waiting at least 7 to 10 days before beginning heavy construction, framing, or driving equipment on it to allow for proper strength curing.
Are you licensed and insured?
Absolutely. We are fully bonded and insured for both residential and commercial concrete projects, giving you total peace of mind before we even break ground.
